As you know, l egendary actress and  Farrah Fawcett battling cancer. Her close friend, Alana Stewart has issued a statement about the current condition of the Charlie’s Angel.

“Farrah is in stable condition. She is resting. She is eating. Her spirits are up and she is still hoping for a cure,” Stewart has said.

Stewart has been shooting footage of the 62-year-old actress during her cancer battle for a two-hour documentary called “Farrah’s Story,” which is set to air May 15 on NBC.

Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett

Farrah’s longtime companion Ryan O’Neil is also very torn up about spending time and last days with the iconic sexy siren.

“It’s a love story,” he tells People magazine about the documentary. “I just don’t know how to play this one. I won’t know this world without her. Cancer is an insidious enemy.”

In the interview, O’Neil reveals that chemotherapy has ended and Fawcett has lost her famous long blonde locks.

“She stays in bed now,” he says. “The doctors see that she is comfortable. Farrah is on IVs, but some of that is for nourishment. The treatment has pretty much ended.”

Redmond O’Neil, the son of Fawcett and O’Neil has been released temporarily from prison (on drug charges) to see his mother. However, the actress is unaware of the legal troubles her son faces.

“Farrah doesn’t know Redmond’s in trouble, and Redmond is terrified for his mother. ‘I don’t want to be in jail and have some guard tell me she is gone,’ he said to me. I told him, ‘She’s rebounding.’ I lied to him. I lie to her. It’s the best thing,” says father  O’Neal.

The documentary starts with Fawcett recording her first visit to the doctor and finding out that she had cancer. It follow her personal moments, the highs and lows of her illness and trips to Germany for several treatments not available in the U.S.”At about the halfway point in our trips the news started to get darker and darker and darker,” O’Neal says. “The hope started to fade. But not for Farrah. She continued fighting. There was always a courage there, and a quiet dignity. Farrah never changed. I fell in love with her all over again because of how she handled this.”

My prayers are with Ms. Fawcett, who I have always admired as one of the most beautiful and trendsetting Hollywood starlets.

Don’t miss Farrah’s Story May 15 on NBC.
