Scott and Jagger had Just Purchased Home Before her Death; no Funeral Announcements Yet

The Rolling Stones took off from Perth Airport Thursday, bound for Abu Dhabi – after canceling a set of shows in Australia and New Zealand following the shocking suicide of lead singer Mick Jagger friend of 13 years, designer L’Wren Scott.

But Jagger – whose been in hiding since Monday was not spotted boarding the flight.

It’s unclear whether Jagger will fly to New York City to help tend to Scott’s affairs.

Friends and family are still puzzled on Scott’s apparent depression and demise.

“Mick had recently decided to end his hotel lifestyle, and I understand they had just bought a $10 million home in New York,” Rob Shane, the husband of Scott’s sister Jan, told the Daily News on Wednesday.

And the $1.25 million that Scott owed on her $5.6 million Chelsea apartment where she lived — and where she hanged herself Monday — had been paid off.

It is believed that her body would be taken to the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home on Madison Ave., which has been the site of many celebrity wakes, including last month’s rites for actor Philip Seymour Hoffman. However, the facility says they have yet to hear from anyone.

Beyonce Suffering From Depression?

While hubby Jay-Z was turning Austin out at the SXSW music festival, Beyonce stayed back in New York with Baby Blue and mama Tina Knowles to help.

But on a more interesting note, an inside source says that Beyonce is experiencing postpartum depression, which is quite normal for mothers of newborns. The source goes on to say Bey, has been sad, has trouble sleeping at night and is having some difficulty caring for Blue.

“She’s depressed and she’s losing weight because she won’t eat,” said the source.

If this is indeed true, it’s only normal for the first time mother to be a tad depressed. I mean, her life as she knew it has changed and she now lives for someone other than herself. And with that said, all new mothers go without sleep because the baby’s not sleeping all through the night.

In any case, the Knowles-Carter family is in our prayers. And we’re sure Bey is be just fine. 🙂

DJ AM Documentary Airs on MTv

MTV will air the late Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein’s documentary series, Gone Too Far, with consent from his family.

The network confirmed Monday that the series about young addicts, created and hosted by Goldstein, would premiere Oct. 12 at 10 p.m.

“Adam felt strongly that by doing this series he could help other addicts who were at a crisis point to get sober,” Goldstein’s family said in a statement released by MTV Monday…The decision to air the show has been difficult, but we do this with the profound belief that it will inspire others to seek help.”

DJ AM was found dead in his  Manhattan apartment  in August. Medical examiners ruled his death accidental due to a lethal combination of eight different drugs.

The  former addict survived a deadly Learjet crash. He also battled depression and once admitted to being suicidal.

“I went into my living room, and I had a .22 from when I was a paranoid cokehead, thinking the FBI was raiding my one-bedroom apartment because they were so concerned with me,” Goldstein once admitted. “I grabbed the gun off the top of my dresser, and I put it in my mouth, and I pulled the trigger. And it jammed. And I remember sitting there thinking, ‘I can’t even kill myself.'”

In the series, which was originally set to premiere Oct. 5,  Goldstein watches videotapes of addicts telling their story and pleading for help. He then visits with addicts and their families in an effort to help them onto the road to recovery.
