Walker and Rodas Killed by Impact, Says Autopsy; “Fast 7” Production Shut Down

The autopsy is back on beloved actor Paul Walker and prove that the actor was killed by impact and fire, along with driver Roger Rodas who was killed by impact alone. The L.A. Coroner’s Office released the autopsy Wednesday.

Results of toxicology testing will take another six to eight weeks.

Although sheriffs are still investigating what caused Rodas to lose control of the vehicle, the auto shop (owned by Walker and Rodas) released a statement on yesterday saying that their investigation concludes their was a factory malfunction with the vehicle that was rarely driven. They added that the straight line skid marks on the street showed that their was a leakage from the vehicle that caused an explosion in the front of the Porsche Carrera GT, rather than the back of the vehicle, where the engine is located.

Meanwhile, Universal Pictures announced that it has shut down production for an unspecified time on “Fast & Furious 7.”

The seventh installment of the street racings series started shooting in September and was on break for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Actress Brittany Murphy Dead at 32

It has just been revealed by Brittany Murphy’s family that the actress was ill with flu-like symptoms in the days before her death at age 32.

The Clueless and 8 Mile actress died Sunday morning after collapsing at her Hollywood Hills home.

An autopsy on Monday will help determine what killed the actress, but it will be weeks before the cause of death is announced.

The Chief Coroner says Murphy’s death appears to be from natural causes, but due to what?

Prescription medications were taken from Murphy’s home and officials are talking with her personal physician to get a better sense of her medical history.

Murphy died about 10 a.m. Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to the hospital.

She was transported to the medical center after the Fire Department responded to a call at 8 a.m. at the home she shared with her husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack, in the Hollywood Hills.

Murphy apparently collapsed in the bathroom.

Paparazzi were camped outside the multistory home, located above the Sunset Strip.

Neighbor Clare Staples said she saw firefighters working to resuscitate the actress Sunday morning. She said Murphy was on a stretcher.

Murphy’s husband, wearing pajama bottoms and no shoes, appeared “dazed” as firefighters tried to save her, Staples said. “It’s just tragic,” she added.

Murphy’s publicist, Nicole Perna, said in a statement:

“In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy.”

Murphy’s father, Angelo Bertolotti, said he learned of her death from his son, the actress’s brother, and was stunned.

“She was just an absolute doll since she was born,” Bertolotti said from his Branford, Fla., home. People…loved her…She was just a regular gal.”

Born Nov. 10, 1977, in Atlanta, Murphy grew up in New Jersey and later moved with her mother to Los Angeles to pursue acting.

Aside from her on-screen roles, Murphy also voiced many animated characters, including Luanne Platter on Fox’s King of the Hill.

She is due to appear in Sylvester Stallone’s upcoming film, The Expendables, set for release next year.

She once dated Ashton Kutcher, who costarred with Murphy in 2003’s romantic comedy Just Married.

Funeral arrangements for Murphy have not been announced.

the jackson request second autopsy; rumors of doctors whereabouts addressed; michael’s use of painkillers

Today (Saturday) Reverend Jesse Jackson was issued a statement from the Jackson family stating that the family would like a second autopsy done on the pop star because of unanswered questions on how he died and the doctor that was with him.

“It’s abnormal,” he told The Associated Press from Chicago a day after visiting the Jackson family. “We don’t know what happened. Was he injected and with what? All reasonable doubt should be addressed.”

Los Angeles county medical examiners completed an initial autopsy on Friday and said Jackson had been taking prescription medications. Whether these medications were painkillers (many close to Mike say he did use them) has not been affirmed. The medical officials also said there was no indication of trauma or foul play, however the official cause of death could take weeks to finalize.

The coroner’s office released Michael’s body to the family on Friday night. Brother Jermaine gave the family’s first public statement saying the family was grief-stricken and would like their privacy.

“They’re hurt because they lost a son. But the wound is now being kept open by the mystery and unanswered questions of the cause of death,” he said.

Sister Janet was seen driving a Bentley to her deceased brother’s mansion (he had been renting) and left without addressing reporters.

The Jacksons have not announced any plans on their beloved one’s funeral. Numerous family members and relatives have been gathering at the Encino family compound and caring for the singer’s three children.

A person close to the family told The Associated Press they feel upset and angry about a lack of information about those who were around the pop superstar in his final days. The person requested anonymity because of the delicate nature of the situation.

Friends of the pop star say that the 50 year old King of Pop was very excited about starting his 50 London tour concert and reaffirming his title.

A 911 call from Jackson’s rented home reported that his personal doctor was trying to revive him without success. Police have talked to Dr. Conrad Murray and have said they intend to speak with him again but have stressed he is not a criminal suspect.

Dr. Murray has yet to speak publicly since Jackson’s death. Police towed his car from Jackson’s home hours after Jackson died and said later it could contain medication or other evidence.

“He was there from the beginning and he’s been cooperating with police from the very beginning,” Stradley said. Rumors that the doctor had split town are untrue. He remains in LA.

Dr. Murray has practices in Las Vegas and Texas. The doctor lives in Vegas, but moved in with Jackson two weeks ago. No one was answered the media’s knocks at the doctor’s residence.

The promoter of the series of London concerts that Jackson was to begin next month has said Jackson personally insisted Murray be on the payroll.

Friend of Michael, spiritual teacher Dr. Deepak Chopra says he had been extremely concerned about Michael and was suspicious about the singer’s use of prescription painkillers. Jackson’s nanny also made concerns about her employer’s drug use.
