Gwyneth Paltrow Tries to Shut Down Cheating Rumors

Gwyneth Paltrow is trying to avoid questions about her relationship with tycoon Jeff Soffer. The two are admittedly very close.
When she learned that Vanity Fair would be running a feature on her, she quickly called the Florida billionaire to tell him “If you are asked for quotes or comments, please decline.”

Paltrow, as you know, is married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin and they have two children together. She is said to have become close to Soffer, 43, in 2008, when he reopened the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami. A rep for Paltrow says that the affair claims are false and that Soffer is just a long term friend.

Soffer married supermodel/ businesswoman Elle Macpherson, 49, earlier this year, so these could very well be just rumors.
