It may not seem too gangsta for a “real thug,” but Chris Brown is reppin’ the Bloods these days. Smart thing he’s in Honolulu.
Brown, 24, reportedly hired a guide to take him and his entourage to spots on the island’s capital where they could legally graffiti. The singer then decorated the walls with his signature monster artwork.
What’s stirring controversy is what the F.A.M.E. singer tagged in his work. He drew the gang logo, ‘Fruits Piru,’ is an apparent reference to the Fruit Town Piru gang, next to the phrase, ‘F**k police,’ reported TMZ.
Brown has even been claiming Piru on Twitter, and has a sample of his graffiti as his profile photo.
‘New painting I did in Hawaii!!!!’ he tweeted on Friday.
Chris apparently has a talent for graffiti. Even his Hollywood Hills home and some of his cars are graffitied.
Later, after his sell-out concert at the Waikiki Shell as part of the first annual PowerBash, he messaged:
‘Hawaii show was amazing. Thanks to all the fans. Thx for having me. Had a amazing time seeing the joy everyone had.
