2nd update: kelis gives birth with no nas around (shame on you)

Update: According to Wendy Williams, Nas was not a total no show for his son’s birth. He apparently did show up to the hospital to see his son and seperated wife, but was refused entrance (by Kelis) into her hospital room because HE WAS PLASTERED!

Can you believe it?!

Yesterday, Kelis gave birth to a baby boy Knight Jones. Kelis’ rep gave on official statement saying:

“Kelis gave birth to Knight Jones last night on July 22nd around 9PM. Weighing a healthy 7.8lbs, the beautiful baby boy and his mother are doing wonderful. This was a natural birth and Kelis had been in labor since early Monday morning around 2AM. Knight was delivered in a NYC hospital with her mother and sister in the room.”

And yes, it’s true. She was in labor for over 24 hours and Nas was never by her side. Stay strong Kelis! I’ve heard in the past that Nas was a HAN!

This morning she tweeted…

“Ok so I did it, he’s 7.8 pounds of the greatest stuff on earth…I was in labor for 3 of the longest most painful days of my life. I don’t understand when women say they don’t remember giving birth…I will remember for the rest of my life. He’s kinda perfect btw.”

The ex-couple was due in court for spousal and child support when Kelis went into labor.
