Many of them made headlines yesterday because of their spectacular evening wear or questionably artful costumes. And one young lady was THE center of attention. Rihanna made her first public appearance since all the chaos with her boyfriend. In a Dolce & Gabbana capri tuxedo, she looked ravishing with her punked out cut and domineering black pumps. Beyonce, the talk of Tinseltown right now, wore an Armani Prive dress looking quite elegant, as usual. The star of the box office hit Obsessed always dresses perfect for the occasion. Other stars looking more magnificent than usual included Anne Hathaway in a Marc Jacobs cocktail dress. I’ve never seen Anne look better! Stella McCartney looked incredible with her muses for the evening, Kate Hudon, Liv Tyler and Kate Bosworth, who all wore the designer’s pieces. The three ladies reignited classic Hollywood style in more traditional, but gorgeous pieces from the designer. Another unexpected dazzler was Jessica Biel in a breathtaking red gown from Versace. This was such a smart yet eye-catching choice for Biel, who was looking a little frumpy at the Cartier event over the weekend. She had me scared for a while, but Jessica is a gorgeous girl. I guess she was saving it for the Metro. A pregnant Heidi Klum was glowing, of course, in J. Mendel. A slim and trim Molly Sims showed her flirty side in a gold goodie from Dolce & Gabbana. And the main attraction (or should I say distraction with that wild LV hair accessory) was Madonna in a showstopping runway piece from Louis Vuitton (that I featured in a post earlier this season.) I hadn’t been so excited about an event and the costume choices of these celebs in a long time.
