Rihanna’s publicist comes clean and admits to the world that the affair between Jay-Z and Rihanna was completely fabricated. Jonathan Hay says that he started the rumor himself to launch the career of his client Rihanna. In excerpts from his new book, Publicity Stunt: The Art of Noise and in a recent interview Hay claims:
“Along with one of my partners, I then began to fabricate stories of Rihanna and Jay-Z, leaking false rumors to tabloids, working internet message boards, etc. We started to get an insane amount of media coverage very fast. There are so many things we did that people don’t even know about, not even Rihanna herself…My whole agenda was to get media for the song.”
Hay adds, “When the rumor surfaced that Jay-Z had a new love life and was cheating on Beyonce…that was just to get attention…I feel awful but, yes, I leaked some of those stories. Looking back, I am ashamed of that; there was zero integrity in that maneuver. But this is entertainment and I wanted to obtain publicity – so I came up with some crazy stories and it worked. Rihanna is one of the biggest stars in the world now, and look at how she stormed into the business! Not to take anything from her – she is a great artist – but every artist needs a launching pad and there is nothing better than a good scandal to get the public’s attention.”
David Duchovny and wife Tea Leoni have separated after 11 years of marriage, but not because of his sex addiction after all.

Meanwhile, she has been seen chilling with Billy Bob and his band at gigs.

Tea’s rep verified the break-up saying, “Yes, they have separated.”
“She is living on her own with the children in New York, but we did not want to announce it for the sake of the children until after David had received treatment for his problems.”
Even though Shaquille and Shauna O’Neal have reportedly called off their divorce proceedings, a new report could influence that decision.
TMZ is reporting that an Atlanta based hip hop artist named Mary Jane is maintaining that the young NBA legend has been harassing her with heavy breathing over the phone.
The woman, whose real name is Alexis Miller, says it’s gotten so appalling to the point that she went to the authorities and received a restraining order against the Phoenix Suns center.
Miller asserts they had an affair and that when it ended, Shaq threatened he’d destroy her career if she told anyone.
According to court documents O’Neal inscribed her one email that reads:
“I dnt no who the fuk u think u dealin wit u will neva be heard from one phone call is all I gotta make no try me. Sho me.”
O’Neal is scheduled to appear before a judge on Sept. 4.
TMZ is also reporting that the woman’s lawyer, L. David Wolfe, said that Miller has known O’Neal for 18 months and that he sent her manifold emails that are grounds for her to be worried.
LisaRaye McCoy Misick stayed in the hospital Thursday, Aug. 14 afternoon after Wednesday night’s physical quarrel with her husband, Turks and Caicos president Michael Misick.
The altercation followed allegations from LisaRaye that Rocsi from BET’s 106 & Park had been having an affair with Misick and was staying at the mansion last weekend while LisaRaye was in New York.
“Rocsi had been walking around the Misick household in a bathrobe giving tours of the house while LisaRaye was in Atlanta for Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def weekend. Then yesterday [8/6/08] on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, gossip contributor Jawn Murray added more fuel to the fire claiming LisaRaye told him personally that Rocsi was having an ‘out in the open’ affair with her husband. “
As previously reported, Misick released a statement Tuesday proclaim his separation from the TV star. According to Caribbean Net News, LisaRaye returned to the island earlier this week to work out a divorce settlement. But sources told the news outlet that the developments had gone very badly from her standpoint. Misick ended up prohibiting his wife from the mansion and she was reportedly forced to stay at a local beach resort.
On that Wednesday night, LisaRaye disregarded the alleged ban and faced up to Misick at his mansion. The situation turned violent.
“He beat her bad,” a source told EUR Thursday afternoon. “She came in the same day Rocsi went out, and he had already issued the statement that they were separated. Apparently she went over there and got into the fight. She’s now in the hospital.
“The sub-story is that he has been under investigation because $57 million dollars is missing from our government. They froze all of his bank accounts. He’s getting a separation because he can’t afford to get a divorce, said the source.”
Misick, according to our source, dispatched his fleet of bodyguards to stand around the edges of the hospital to stop reporters from interviewing LisaRaye about the incident.
CLASHING PRESS RELEASES
Although LisaRaye is reportedly hospitalized with injuries, which was said to include bite marks, Misick released a statement Thursday refuting that he assaulted his wife, and accused LisaRaye, her cousin and her rep of attacking him.
It read:
“Last night LisaRaye, her cousin Phillip Travis, and her publicist Lynn Jeter assaulted the guard at the Premier’s home, proceeded to ransack the house, and then assaulted the Premier and his sister. As the result of her assault on them, both the Premier and his sister were taken to the hospital with injuries and later released. The Premier at no time had any physical contact with LisaRaye.
“It is public knowledge that the couple has been separated for months, and LisaRaye has no lawful right to be in the residence. Her conduct yesterday clearly contradicts her stated commitment to dissolve the marriage amicably.”
Several hours later, LisaRaye released the following statement:
“It is with great sadness that I have to announce that my husband and I have separated.
Last night, Wednesday August 13, 2008, an attempt was made by and on behalf of my husband to first prevent my entry into our home and then, later, to make me leave our home by force.
It was necessary for me to receive medical treatment for injuries suffered and in relation to those injuries I shall continue to assist the police force with its enquiries.
Whilst it is my sincere wish to avoid unnecessary conflict, I shall not be intimidated, nor shall those individuals whose job it is to protect and represent me.
I ask that my privacy be respected in these difficult times and I believe that the people of the TCI will understand and support my wish to receive the necessary independent representation from the legal counsel of my choosing. I hope that, in time, the TCI government will come to share that view.
Although I have always been a supportive wife even in light of the very serious allegations currently pending against the Premier, there are limits even for me.
I continue to have the utmost respect for the people of the TCI who have always shown me kindness and support. I vow to continue my work amongst the people of Turks and Caicos Islands.
Until recently I had hoped that I would be able to continue to assist my husband during what will undoubtedly be difficult times ahead for him. I do not wish to have to add to his difficulties.”
Local TCI news station WIV4 interviewed LisaRaye at the airport when she returned to the island earlier this week – before the fight.
“I was just as shocked about hearing about it as anyone and everyone else, but just as any wife’s position would be in such an allegation as this, it has to put a damper on the marriage,” she told the WIV4 reporter.
“With all that’s happening with Michael – the rape and the corruption allegations, and his ill behavior, even this weekend for our recent music festival – I think he’s just spiraling out of control. I will just continue to be uplifting, and I will pray for him.”

Cynthia Rodriguez gave her first interview to Cindy Adams (one the biggest GOSSIP columnists) of the NY Post today and says the she and her family — “parents, uncles, aunts” — are devastated.
She had this to say about her alleged affair with Lenny Kravitz:
“I did not spend one dollar shopping in Paris. I did not go to super-fancy expensive restaurants. I did not go to any spa. I didn’t do one thing … My husband and I were already into our problems and I didn’t know where to go, what to do … I spent the most innocent four days with my children’s godparents, who are as close to us as family.”
Ok now despite reports that Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie have met with divorce lawyers and after Madonna’s publicist denied that the couple’s marriage is in jeopardy, there are still even more allegations.

Us Weekly reports that the singer has been hosting late-night visits from the New York Yankee at her Central Park West apartment in New York City.
A source tells Us that the $28-million-a-year Rodriguez, 32, has made numerous solo nighttime visits to Madonna, 49, at her spacious home and would sneak out “as late as midnight.” Says the source, “All the doormen are talking.”
Rodriguez attended Madonna’s April 30 NYC concert; the singer sat in his seats at a Yankees game on June 22 (it was the first time she ever was photographed at a Yankees game.)
