When Dallas born writer Christina Angelique Garr was only 12 years old, she realized that she was different from most students…she loved to write. While the other kids were drawing and playing, she was writing short stories and articles for the yearbook. “I was the one that everybody came to when they had a paper due,” she laughs.
The 28 year old has since worked in the music and fashion industry and is a natural at freezing the moment with words. Angelique has interviewed many of Hollywood’s MVP’s.
“I love meeting famous people,” she says. “…Especially if it’s someone I really admire. I’ll keep my cool, but on the inside, I’m about to explode.” Recent film-subject Frank Lucas and model Cindy Crawford are only two of her most memorable conversations. Others include Russell Simmons, Trey Songz, Joe Budden, Royce da 5′9″, Joell Ortiz, Mobb Deep, Juelz Santana, Memphis Bleek Avant, Joi, Plies, Fantasia, Talib Kweli, Ray J, Chris Brown, Black Eyed Peas, Foxy Brown, Keyshia Cole, Ashanti, Pete Rock, Chrisette Michele, Bun B, Snoop Dogg, Jadakiss, Nappy Roots, Rockmond Dunbar, Dick Gregory and many others.

After taking a brief hiatus from writing around 1997, the 12 year vet rediscovered her love while working as a news reporter for jazz station KNTU FM in Dallas. Along with being a serious “hip-hop head,” Angelique also loves fashion and art. Her absolute favorite assignments are fashion spreads and hobbies include singing, watching as many movies humanly possible, and teaching baton-twirling to young girls.

Publications that have showcased her work include Rhyme & Reason, Basic Magazine, The Source Magazine, Hush Magazine, The Dallas Morning News and the beat goes on.
Her latest venture, Journalicious!, is an entertainment news and gossip site that was launched because of the success of this blog.
“I’d like to thank everyone that visits this blog and invite you to visit www.Journalicious.us to keep receiving your daily dose Celeb News and other Goodies.
The Journalicious! Media was launched while doing work for local artists and lending her media authority to such acts as rap group DP Generation (Tha Dogg Pound,) Purple City artist Agallah The Don Bishop and Grammy Award – winning producer Jah Born.
