After a year of hospitalizations and health problems encircling Grammy award winning singer Amy Winehouse, her husband Blake Fielder-Civil has paced forward to take responsibility for her drug addiction.

According to Britain’s News of the World, the superstar’s husband is reportedly admitting his role in the number of evils Winehouse has acquired including an exposure to highly addictive and  illegal drugs.

“I dragged Amy into [drugs] and without me there is no doubt that she would never have gone down that road,” Blake told the UK’s News of the World. “I introduced her to heroin, crack cocaine and self-harming. I feel more than guilty.”

He also went in depth about an affair she was having with assistant Alex Haines while married to him.

“They started taking heroin and crack,” Blake added. “And temptation just got the better of the pair of them.”

Fielder-Civil has now made a decision to separate from Winehouse.

“Now I have to let her go to to save her life. I am not abandoning her. I am doing this out of love,” Blake explained. “The most dignified thing I can ever do in my life is to release somebody I love from my f*cking grasp, from my clutches.”

In spite of being married to a platinum-selling singer, Blake supposedly is prepared to divorce Windehouse without asking for any monetary requests.

“If Amy wants a divorce I’m not going to fight her for anything,” he added. “I’m not taking a single penny off her.”

Winehouse checked-in to England’s London Clinic last week due to an allergic reaction to medication.

According to CNN, the R&B megastar was hurried to the hospital after usage of some form of medical treatement reportedly resulted in illness.

No word on when she will be discharged.
