RODRIGUEZ’S WIFE SPEAKS ON AFFAIR WITH LENNY KRAVITZ (SORT OF)

Cynthia Rodriguez gave her first interview to Cindy Adams (one the biggest GOSSIP columnists) of the NY Post today and says the she and her family — “parents, uncles, aunts” — are devastated.

She had this to say about her alleged affair with Lenny Kravitz:

“I did not spend one dollar shopping in Paris. I did not go to super-fancy expensive restaurants. I did not go to any spa. I didn’t do one thing … My husband and I were already into our problems and I didn’t know where to go, what to do … I spent the most innocent four days with my children’s godparents, who are as close to us as family.”

OZONE Magazine and TJ’s DJ’s Inc. announced the 3rd annual OZONE Awards (TOA) weekend will take place in Houston,Texas from August 8th to August 11th. SWIZZ BEATZ DUMPS WIFE FOR ALICIA KEYS?

 

Word on the street is that Alicia Keys broke up Swizz Beatz’s marriage to R&B singer Mashonda. In a recent interview with Vibe Magazine, Mashonda sat down and spoke on the Alicia Keys rumors and the state of her marriage to the hip-hop producer.

According to reports, Swizz had denied any personal involvement with Alicia Keys, despite many rumors stating the contrary. When asked about Ms. Keys, Mashonda said, “For legal issues I can’t discuss, but eventually I will. I just want people to understand that in January 2008 at my birthday party, in my eyes my husband and I seemed perfectly happy. Hip-Hop Weekly did an exclusive, and things were fine. Whatever happened after that, I wasn’t aware. I didn’t know about anything, it was a rude awakening. I feel like I gave too much already, but just know I am in no way shape or form using what is going on to push my music. The media is creating a scandal, and I’m creating music, it’s not apart of each other.”

 Mashonda said that she and Swizzy have not even filed for a legal separation yet.

“Maybe it’s a break, I don’t know,” said Mashonda of the uncertain state of her marriage.  “I don’t know if sh*t will ever be the same, and I don’t honestly see how it could. Maybe this is God saying we need to do us for a minute, and I’m not pushing for anything but peace at this point. I’m not wanting him to crawl back and I’m not on his heels. All I want is peace and to be on decent terms for our son.”

Swizz and Mashonda separated in April of this year. They have one child, Kasseem Jr.

THE GAME SPEAKS ON FIGHT AT COUSIN’S FUNERAL

 

As we reported days ago, the Compton MC got into a physical altercation with some family members after the funeral of his cousin´s sister. Game´s cousin Robert “Kirky”Kirkwood told TMZ that Game promised to help finance the cost to bury his sister but he hasn’t seen any money yet.   During a radio interview on 98.3 in Arizona,Game finally talked about the situation and said that his family is only looking for his money. The rapper promised to finance part of his cousin’s funeral but his offer was rejected by the family because they expected him to pay for all the costs.   But Kirkwood still claims that The Game accepted the agreement and wanted to talk to him about the cash situation but an argument started, ending with Game punching his first cousin in the face. Kirkwood filed a police report against the rapper.   “I already know what their motivation is. Their motivation is basically money,” Game said. “[After my cousin died], it was like my phone was going off the hook. Everybody was calling asking for money, and you know, just asking me to pay for the whole funeral, which I don’t have no problem doing, but that’s not my obligation.”   “I feel like they were just trying to play me out of [$17,000]. I talked to my mom about it. My mom said ‘you should pay for the casket and the flowers, if you wanna do anything.’ They rejected that because they wanted me to pay for the whole thing,” the rapper continued.   According to The Game, his cousin planned to jump him when he showed up.    “Two days prior to this funeral, my cousin Kirky, he’s already got his Crip homies at the funeral. He called my brother Fase and asked him would he jump in if him and his homies jumped me at the funeral,” explained Game. “He’s already plotting on me. When I get there, I’m thinking the funeral and the death of his sister would calm all that. When I see him, I shake his hand, I go sit down and tell him I love him.”   After everything that happened, Game says, “Mo money, mo problems. Now, my family is my worst enemy. I hate them more than I hate 50 Cent man.”

YOUNG BERG MAKES STUPID RACIST COMMENT

 

African American rapper Yung Berg recently revealed that he harbors racist feelings against his own race.

According to reports, the “Sexy Can I” rapper dissed his own race with biased opinions during an interview on radio show Lip Service. During the interview, Berg said that he doesn’t like dark skinned women and even refers to them as “dark butts.”

Mediatakeout.com released a transcript of his conversation in which Berg said, “I’m kinda racist…I don’t like dark butts…You know how some women prefer light skin men or dark skin men. It’s rare that I do dark butts – that’s what I call dark skinned women…I [don’t date women] darker than me.”

Berg reportedly went on to say, “I love the pool test. If you can jump in the pool exactly like you are and you don’t come out looking better than you looked before going in the pool – then that’s not a good look. Any woman that uses brown gell to set down her baby hair is not poppin.”

His color preference is exhibited through his current relationship with “America’s Next Top Model” winner Jaslene.

At press time, Berg had offered no other comment on the issue.

50 CENT GETS SUED FOR FIRE

 

50 Cent’s finances are being hit. First, his much hyped G-Unit album sold less than 100,000 copies. Now, his ex girlfriend and mother of his 11-year-old son is suing him for $50 million in damages caused by the fire that destroyed the home she was living in.

The fire, labeled by officials as “suspicious,” claimed the Long Island home back in May. By that time, the dispute between 50 and his ex,Shaniqua Tompkins, had already begun with the rapper beginning eviction proceedings against her.

Tompkins took her opinions to the media, telling TMZ that 50 Cent set the blaze to avoid having to honor an agreement made between them.

“There wasn’t a written contract but an expressed oral agreement, which is recognized in the New York courts,” Tompkins’ attorney Paul Catsandonis explained to The Hudson Reporter. “They decided years ago that she was going to be the domestic partner, and she was going to provide the domestic services while he devoted all his time to becoming a Hip-Hop artist. Whatever profits he was able to achieve would be divided equally, and he had promised her and their son that they could live in the house. He breached that contract.”

Catsadonis concedes that the relationship between 50 and Tompkins should be viewed as a common-law marriage.

“We are moving into the modern era where people are not getting married anymore but are common law husband and wife.” Catsadonis said.

In addition to the lawsuit, Tompkins has also filed a restraining order to keep the rapper away from her and has refused to let him see his son.

50 fired back with a $20 million defamation suit and a complaint against Tompkins for violating their current custody agreement.

In a recent interview with MTV, 50 said, “My relationship with my son is changing because me and his mom aren’t friends anymore…The relationship between my wallet and his mom has changed. When people have expensive habits, it’s a hell of a transition for them when that money is not there anymore. She said all kinds of thins about me I would never expect.”

The Suffolk County Family Court is expected to begin proceedings on July 17 to hear arguments for 50’s visitation rights.

At press time, there had been no further comment from 50 or Tompkins.
